London’s most popular and well-loved green space, Hyde Park is the largest of four Royal Parks that form a chain from Kensington Palace to Buckingham Palace. The park is as beautiful as it is at the height of summer as it is in the dead of winter.
Featuring a range of local attractions and iconic landmarks such as The Serpentine and the Hyde Park bandstand, Hyde Park also includes Speakers’ Corner – a historic area designed to facilitate freedom of speech and constructive debate.
In addition to its more historic features, Hyde Park has also become famous for its lively concerts and seasonal events. The park tends to host the annual Radio 2 Live in the Park event every September, while iconic groups such as The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Queen have also staged concerts at the park. Every Christmas, the park also hosts Winter Wonderland, an annual celebration of all things festive and merry.
