The Best Brunch Spots in Kensington

We applaud the person that first decided to combine breakfast and lunch to make the greatest meal of the day, brunch. People may try and tell you it’s an alternative, but we will not judge if you want to attempt to fit in all three meals into your weekend morning.

Since Guy Beringer created this marvellous meal back in 1895, brunch has grown massively and no weekend would be complete without it. Kensington has a large variety of places where you can enjoy this yummy meal, so we have helped narrow the search down by creating a list of the best brunch spots in Kensington.

At Ffiona’s you are guaranteed a warm welcome.  It is one of the oldest family-run restaurants, not just in Kensington, but in the whole of London. With such a mouth-watering array of delicacies on offer, you’ll be struggling to make a choice! However, if you are feeling hungry we suggest the ‘Breakfast of Champions’ an 8oz steak topped with two fried eggs, served with hand-cut chips. The only way to start your winning day.

Muriel’s Kitchen

This lively little bistro has a charming atmosphere and is the perfect place for a catch-up brunch. Brunch is served between 8 am and 5 pm every day, so it doesn’t matter when you can roll out of bed. The founders of Muriel’s Kitchen, Charlotte and Sam, wanted to own a place where food would be both fast and fresh and both healthy and indulgent. When you stop by try Muriel’s Popeye’s, their speciality dish.

Dirty Bones

This New York City inspired restaurant does brunch like no other in Kensington. Head along to Dirty Bones at the weekend and check out their bottomless brunch cocktail menu. All the best American comforts are also on offer. Their unique brunch taco is not something to miss out on.

The Ivy Kensington Brasserie

This relaxed yet sophisticated all-day dining restaurant on Kensington High Street is the perfect spot to enjoy brunch. Head out into their large garden terrace to make the most of the sunshine. The Ivy offers an extensive menu with a mix of modern British comfort food and international dishes. When visiting, don’t forget to check out their Brunch Waffle menu where you can get delicious waffles with any topping you desire.

Aubaine, they live to make the simple sophisticated and the sophisticated simple. Their menu is inspired by the modern taste of France. We all know that the French do the best croissants, so why not head along to Aubaine to see if they are just as good?

Kensington, food.
