Marlin Queen Street Apartments

Great location, accessable to bridges and 3 undergrounds. Walking distance for attractions, very near to restaurants and bars. Downside is you can feel the underground under the building, but we were on the 5th floor so wasn't bad. Place is pretty clean, needs refurbishing a bit, bed was a tad small for us. Quicker standard wifi also needed.. Took a bit long for transaction, reception very nice and helpful. Nice apartment overall with a nice window scenery. Would stay here again!

Marlin Queen Street Apartments

We were disappointed that we had to pay 30 pounds extra to get into the property at 1:00 p.m. It seems to me that when most U.S. travelers arrive in the early AM, asking them to do something touristy on very little sleep until 3:00 p.m. is a little excessive. We had a problem the first morning with no hot water but the problem was resolved. The concierge was helpful in many ways.

NEGATIVES:

1. Not being able to control the air conditioning had to open the windows to cool things down.

2. Lack of instructions for appliances they werent left in the apartment.

3. No servicing in the 9 days I was there had to ask for more toilet paper.

Positives:

1. Good location.

Staff responsive when there was an issue.

The appartment itself was excellent, however at the time of our visit the lift was out of order to our floor. As we are a 'senior' couple and had a lot of luggage we had some difficulty in getting everything to and from our appartment. We were only on the 'first' floor but the height of the ground floor made this seem like 3 floors up.
