Marlin Limehouse Apartments

Everything was fine with the property except it really stank of cigarette smoke. We complained and they were already aware of it and had charged the previous occupiers however, this didn't help us and 2 of us were running the marathon the next day so didn't particularly appreciate the awful smell. Other than that the stay would have been fine.

We were extremely pleased with the apartment and it's facilities. It represented excellent value for money and we were more than surprised that we were able to rent the accommodation for one night only - perfect for our plans. We would certainly recommend the apartments and would use them again. The proximity to the DLR made our stay even more enjoyable as we were in London for the Marathon.

Great location in London overall, though took a while for us to identify our various travel options apart from the Tube/DLR. Apartment layout and fittings was very modern and convenient. Bathroom exhaust fan system could be more robust - we're used to more airy bathrooms in Australia.

Marlin Limehouse Apartments

Have never stayed in the Docklands area of London before and was attending an event at the Excel Convention Centre. Apartment was a very pleasant surprise. Very close to Limehouse station and right next door a brilliant taxi firm for transport to the Excel. Even the take aways over the road did lovely food and were open late for tea when we returned from the Excel at about 10pm. Very clean, well appointed and comfortable - I'd have no hesitation in staying here again.

Overall very pleased with the apartment and facilities provided. The plug for the bath was missing but this was sorted with reception within minutes.

On the final morning the toaster tripped the electrics and all power to the sockets was lost. This was reported to reception when we were checking out.

We enquired re grocery shopping facilities prior to arrival and were told Tesco Express was within 5 minutes walk away but this was not the case and this information related to the other Marlin apartments further up Commercial Road.

Marlin Limehouse Apartments

Although we were expecting the apartment to be in Canary Wharf somewhere, it didn't actually matter in the end as the apartment was wonderful and had everything that we needed to wind up our trip in London. It was very close to the train station and the buses so we could get anywhere we needed to quickly. The apartment was clean and had been very well set up with everything that we needed - including the washer / dryer. I would recommend this option to anyone, who like us, found that London hotel prices were utterly ridiculous.

I would like to express my thankfulness to the girls on the concierge, they were very helpful.

The appartment was good except for I thought it would be on 1 floor and I prefere the living room on first floor and bedroom on second floor.

If it was also biger in size it was brilliant.
