I love the location and the room is good. The kitchen is acceptable but could use some work on which way doors open. The staff who see to the facility are excellent and very responsive.
We enjoyed our stay. Two quibbles - the wi-fi was useless and the entry-phone was broken, so that it would not hang on its hook.

We were looking for a reasonably priced small apartment in the city centre. This could not have been any better - great location, and it was bigger than it had appeared in the pictures I saw online - very roomy with a separate small kitchen area (no oven, but a hob, microwave, fridge and even a washing machine). We actually saved money staying here rather than a hotel because we were able to take care of our own breakfast / lunch / dinner (small Sainsburys just a few minutes away to get supplies).
I'd seen a few other reviews mentioning the noise of tube trains rumbling by underneath - they were audible but by no means a disturbance. I'd recommend anyone staying there with someone special has a go at some jiggy time - and hope that a train is going by as things come to a conclusion .... afterwards you can justifiably ask your significant other if the earth moved for them. It's a win / win situation!
The location ist really perfect and the room nr 1 nice and clean.
There is a safety deposit box in the room, but I was not able to use it - the door is closed and the code unknown.
The two little nightlamps are not working - probably the light bulbs need to be changed.
The shower is dripping quit a lot. We have to close the bathroom door in the night, otherwise the sound of dripping waterdrops don't let us fall in sleep.

We were in apartment 7, building 2a, Lower Belgrave Street. We were very pleased with the layout and the space in the apartment and the benifit of afternoon sun in the living and bedroom area.. ( As Australians, we were surprised to find ourselves below pavement level !) Your concierge was most helpful, but we did keep him very busy attending to recurring electrical problems in our apartment !! Even though a maintenance team called, we had NO lighting in the bathroom or kitchen. We cleaned our teeth by torch light and showered in the dark! Remember, the bathroom is UNDER the pavement area !! An electrician was called and he was able to give us light for the kitchen and bathroom but unable to rectify the problem with the bathroom fan.
My one complaint is there was no toilet paper and only one tiny bar of hand soap
the cleaner who was luckily still there when we arrived gave us half a toilet roll. When I called the concierge a couple of days later he was upset that I asked for more.We had to buy our own soap and more toilet paper. As ALL accomodations normally supply both we thought this extremely "penny pinching"
Rooms are serviced only once weekly which was fine with us.
