Chesham Court Apartments
Before choosing this property, I have emailed the property asking if I will have a washing machine and dryer in the room, they answered yes. However, upon arriving I discovered that the washing machine and dryer was communal and shared between a large amount of tenants. This cause great inconvenience as the washing machine and dryer was constantly occupied as many other tenants did not have the courtesy to remove their laundry promptly. Further more the attitude of the receptionist can only be described as horrible. She did not care about the laundry situation and always very rudely replied whenever we asked for additional amenities such as toilet paper. Upon checking in the property, I was shocked to be given a basement apartment, but as they did not have any other available I grudgingly accepted, once inside the apartment was old,and had a very stale smell. This only got worse as I looked into the guest room, bits of the wall was falling off near the bed and even the nicer looking wall had terrible water stains and was on the verge of mouldy. The master room had a light that flickers intermittently, this caused great annoyance especially during night times as that light would be the only light source.
