Shad Thames was once London's gateway to the world of trade, where ships brought in exotic spices, tea and cotton. This is reflected in many of the street names of the area. Nowadays this affluent area is home to many high-quality restaurants, bars and delicatessen food shops, making it ideal for luxury living. The artistic nature of the area is reflected in the nearby Design Museum, and other nearby attractions include Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and the London Dungeon.

London Bridge station is approximately five minutes' walk away, giving access to the Northern and Jubilee underground lines and also mainline services.

Booking Procedure
Oakwood Shad Thames Apartments can be booked in exactly the same way as a hotel: simply complete and submit the secure online booking form. As well as your exact apartment requirements, you’ll need to supply your credit card details on the booking form. This is essential for the booking to be made.

Credit Card Charges
Your card will NOT be charged immediately, but will be kept on file and charged in full 24 hours prior to your arrival. The card will also be charged if you fail to arrive at the apartment without prior cancellation (see cancellation policy below).

Payment
Your credit card will be charged in full 24 hours prior to your arrival.

Security Deposit
When you check in, you will be asked to provide a security deposit in the form of an imprint of your credit card. This is simply a precaution to cover any incidental expenses during your stay.

Check-In & Check-Out Times
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00.

Cancellation Policy
For stays of less than 30 nights the apartments must receive notification of cancellation in writing at least 7 working days before the actual arrival date. Provided that your cancellation request is received within this notice period, the apartments will not charge any cancellation fee. If notification of cancellation is received less than 7 working days before the arrival date, the guest is liable for the rent for the duration of the stay, subject to the apartment being re-let.

For stays of more than 30 nights the apartments must receive notification of cancellation in writing at least 28 days prior to the actual arrival date. Provided that your cancellation request is received within this notice period, the apartments will not charge any cancellation fee. If notification of cancellation is received less than 28 days prior to the arrival date, the guest is liable for the rent for the duration of the stay, subject to the apartment being re-let.

Refunds will not be applicable for non-arrivals.
