Monument Street Apartments by Oakwood

The weekly maid service includes a full linen and towel change, general cleaning, vacuuming and dusting of apartments.

One-bedroom apartments are self-contained, with a luxury bathroom, separate living area, bedroom(s) and a fully equipped kitchen. The studios are very similar, although the bedroom is not physically separated from the living area. Bathrooms consist of a shower, WC and washbasin. Kitchens are fully equipped and contain cupboards, fridge, oven, sink, microwave oven and grill, toaster, kettle, cutlery/crockery and cooking utensils.

The features below apply to all of the apartments:

Situated close to Pudding Lane (where the Great Fire of London began in 1666), Monument Street apartments are within easy walking distance of the River Thames and the Tate Modern gallery at Bankside. The area is full of historical landmarks such as the Bank of England and St Paul's Cathedral.

Monument, Bank and Cannon Street tube stations are all within a short walking distance, offering services on the Central, District and Circle lines. Main line railway stations at Cannon Street and Liverpool Street provide fast and direct access to the south and east of the capital, and the Eurostar terminal at Waterloo is a short taxi ride away.

Booking Procedure
Monument Street Apartments can be booked in exactly the same way as a hotel: simply complete and submit the secure online booking form. As well as your exact apartment requirements, you’ll need to supply your credit card details on the booking form. This is essential for the booking to be made.

Credit Card Charges
Your card will NOT be charged immediately, but will be kept on file and charged in full 24 hours prior to your arrival. The card will also be charged if you fail to arrive at the apartment without prior cancellation (see cancellation policy below).

Payment
Your credit card will be charged in full 24 hours prior to your arrival.

Security Deposit
When you check in, you will be asked to provide a security deposit in the form of an imprint of your credit card. This is simply a precaution to cover any incidental expenses during your stay.

Check-In & Check-Out Times
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00.

Monument Street Apartments by Oakwood accept the following card types: American Express, Diners Club, Master Card, Switch/Maestro, Visa

Cancellation Policy
For stays of less than 30 nights the apartments must receive notification of cancellation in writing at least 7 working days prior to the actual arrival date. Provided that cancellation is received within this notice period, the apartments will not charge any cancellation fee. If notification of cancellation is received less than 7 working days prior to the arrival date, the guest is liable for the rent for the duration of the stay, subject to the apartment being re-let.

For stays of more than 30 nights the apartments must receive notification of cancellation in writing at least 28 days prior to the actual arrival date. Provided that cancellation is received within this notice period, the apartments will not charge any cancellation fee. If notification of cancellation is received less than 28 days prior to the arrival date, the guest is liable for the rent for the duration of the stay, subject to the apartment being re-let.

Refunds will not be applicable for non-arrivals.
