The apartments are set in the heart of Kingston upon Thames, within easy reach of a wide range of shops, restaurants and cafés. Cultural attractions include the Rose of Kingston Theatre, which unusually offers front row seats without seats- patrons bring their own cushions to sit on instead, and the Toilet Gallery, a converted toilet block which features the work of young contemporary artists. The River Thames nearby offers a lovely place for a pleasant stroll.

Kingston railway station is within easy reach, offering regular main line services into the heart of London. There is a comprehensive local bus service, and easy road links to the M3. London Heathrow Airport is approximately ten miles away by road.

Booking Procedure
The Clarendon House Apartments can be booked in exactly the same way as a hotel: simply complete and submit the secure online booking form. As well as your exact apartment requirements, you’ll need to supply your credit card details on the booking form. This is essential for the booking to be made.

After your reservation has been made you will receive an email from the apartments with their registration form, which will need to be completed and returned within 72 business hours in order to confirm the reservation. If the form is not received by the apartments within this time, the apartment will be released and the reservation cancelled. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that the forms are completed and returned promptly.

Credit Card Charges
Your card will be charged at the time of booking for the total cost of the stay plus the security deposit (see below).

Please note that there is a surcharge of 4% for payments made by American Express or Diners Card, and a surcharge of 3.5% for payments made by Visa Credit or Mastercard. There is no surcharge applicable to payments made by Switch/Maestro or Visa Debit.

Payment
Apartments will be paid for prior to arrival (see above).

Security Deposit
For stays of less than 14 nights your card will be pre-authorised at the time of booking for £250 per apartment. Please note that this pre-authorisation will be deducted from your available balance and may take up to seven days to be released after departure.

For stays of between 14 and 28 nights a deposit equal to 50% of the stay is required.

For stays of over 28 nights a deposit equal to four weeks stay is required. This is generally returned five weeks after departure.

Deductions may be made from the deposit in case of incidental expenses, damages or failure to comply with terms of conduct and noise.

Check-In & Check-Out Times
Check-in is from 15.00 and check-out is by 10.00.

Clarendon House Apartments accept the following card types: American Express, Diners Club, Master Card, Switch/Maestro, Visa, Visa Debit

Cancellation Policy
For stays of less than 28 nights, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to arrival. Cancellations made after this point will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the booking. Any amendment which shortens the stay will be subject to a charge equal to 50% of the cancelled nights.

For stays of 28 nights or more, cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to arrival in order to avoid a cancellation fee of up to two weeks' accommodation charge. The cancellation charge is equal to the shortfall in notice, e.g. if notice is given ten days prior to arrival, the charge will be equal to four days' accommodation.

Please note that this cancellation policy also applies to amendments which shorten the booking.

= VAT falls from the standard rate to a lower rate after 28 nights. The first 28 nights are charged at the higher rate.

Rates are per apartment per night, and include VAT (tax) and service.
