There were some relatively minor plumbing issues; sink leaked onto floor from underneath and the shower head leaked so that a stream of water sprayed out onto the toilet and floor next to the tub creating quite a puddle each time the shower was used. This was remedied by piling laying towels over the toilet and on the floor next to the shower. It created more of an inconvenience for the cleaner (and more laundry). Overall, the location is quite convenient and the stay was pleasant.

a bit noisy on the side facing the school and road

i had trouble convincing the staff the phone was not accepting 0800 numbers. which took 2 days. However, once the problem was recognised they were good.

Appartment was great; clean, comfortable and perfect location. Lovely beds, quiet, warm and good showers. Really needs teatowels/dishcloth in kitchen, maybe this was an oversight. Otherwise perfect.

They are beautiful concept and apartments but with some unfortunate aspects very easy to improve:
- maintenance is lamentable (burned out lights, wc tank does not work, ..)
- No temperature control systems and sometimes reaches about 40 º C, ...
- in the elevator you are often papers scattered on the floor, ...
- breakfast service is just a joke ... slow, clumsy, poor, ...they ask you your room number four or five times,...then you have to sign the bill,...everything is clumsy and slow,...
- the recepcionist does not reach beyond "I do not know ",...
- they aim to collect 5 € to introduce your own DVD in your DVD player, ...
Really a pity,...a very good concept in the wrong hands,...tipically in british services,...
I hope they change this stupid management because the apartments are cool,...

The main idea behind our visit was to have a family vacation with our grown children.

The Dolphin House apartment provided us on one hand the privacy we needed, with a room for us and another for the children on the other hand we spent time together in the living room, having breakfast or dinner together.
The facilities at the DH are high class. We used the gym and the restaurant.
It was really like home away from home.

We were upgrade to a the luxe apartment and it was fantastic. Clean, spacious and very stalish. I'm a regular swimmer and the fact of being able to enjoy such a good pool and gym every day at my location made my stay very very satisfactory.

The apartment we stayed in (622) was great - not exactly designer furnishings but lots of space and extremely good value for the price. The in-house fitness centre and pool was also impressive, and the hotel was well located and only a couple minutes walk to Pimlico tube station.

The only negative was that the apartment bedroom was located between the two main lift shafts and if you are a light sleeper the noise was annoyingly audible from early hours of the morning until well after mid-night !

Other than the kitchecn lacking in linen---teacloths and dishcloths-----it's not easy to do the dishes with just one's hands------and even though there was one teacloth it didn't get changed. The bedrooms were serviced every day but the Living room and the kitchen were not touched. Maybe a dishwasher would have given us a clue that the dishes were not to be cleared.
The check-in staff were wonderful and the location was splendid.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment for 9 nights during Feb 2010. Positive points:
The apt was very spacious with plenty of closet space. Ours was facing the inside courtyard so it was nice and quiet.
Generally the apt and common areas were quite clean.
Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped.
Location was very convenient, just a short bus rides takes you all the way to Victoria and then you can connect to other buses/tube to other parts of London. Alternatively, the grocery/pharmacy on the property is more than adequate for all your short term needs.
Staff was very friendly and helpful at the reception in general. The only complaint was on the first day after checking in, we were pointed in the wrong direction to our room and we were not offered any porter service to help with our luggage. After struggling for a while, finally a porter offered to help us and brought us to the correct wing of the building and to our room.

Negative points:
Housekeeping and cleaniness for the room was not quite up to par...we had dropped a tissue under one of the dining chairs and for the next 3 days, the tissue remained under the chair untouched.
Parts of the room need repainting, carpet needs to be steamed cleaned. One of the bathrooms, the side panel on the bath tub was falling off and although housekeeping did try to come and fix it, they just patched it up by sticking some sealant to the side which did not solve the problem.
There should have been a more detailed instruction packet inside the room to instruct us on how everything works. The old Dell computer was not user friendly at all. We had no idea how to retrieve our messages from the phone etc.
On the whole, it was a pleasant stay and we would recommend others to stay at the dolphin house.

the apartments have recently been decorated and some work is still continuing. The work that has been done, is minimal and is really just a touch up. Televisions poor and only one in appartment was digital, meaning quality and number of stations on ohters very poor. No mircowave in appartment, had a hairdryer but no plug in bedroom to use it. Bathroom needed good clean and dispite being decorated was already in need of maintainence. No info on equipment in the appartment or what you could find in the surrounding area. More for working people, needing a base through the week rather than holiday makers. Wouldn't go again.
