Very nice looking house on approach, room clean but far too small for comfort. Toilet a nightmare shower water soaks the toilet you have to put your clothes into the wash basin and cover with a towel to stop the shower water soaking them, reminds me of a caravan toilet - far too small!!!! Light in there also kept going off and on. Kitchen unreal due to kettle lead not being long enough to fit the socket in the roof of the cubbyhole and no surface to prepare food which caused us to eat out. You then have to take the plug and base over the front of the bedroom on a bedside cabinet as no other plug where lead is long enough to reach. We found the room heat unbearable and were really thankful there was a fan heater in there. I am at a loss to understand how 3 peoples clothes would fit into the wardrobe!! if anyone was staying for a week. And the beds were so narrow I was afraid to turn over incase I fell out. Also was unable to wash my hair as stated hairdryer in the room did not yet find one. We booked for 3 people but one ended up staying elsewhere as not suitable size for 3 just about do for 2.I know London space is a premium but do think this is a poor size for the money. Will not be staying here next year. And to have to pay £50 deposit for a room key I find absolutely absurd.

Aston's is my home away from home. The rooms are always impeccably clean. The service is first rate and the location (bounded by Cromwell, Gloucester and Old Brompton Rds) can't be beat. If you want to feel like a local, shop on your way home for dinner, and walk to your local or fave restaurant -- stay here.

The room my mother and sister occupied was clean and well presented. The room I shared with my brother smelt like a pub toilet. The person who occupied the room prior to us was obviously smoking frequently in the bathroom which caused the whole room to wreak of tobacco smoke. Even with the window left open the room still smelt when we checked out. The rooms are rather compact but with the supplied cooking facilities and ideal location I consider them value for money.

Paid £174 for 3 people sharing, which was good value for accommodation in this part of London. Good for a night's cheap shared accommodation in a very nice part of town.

We experienced a real shock when we walked into the double studio apartment which turned out be a tiny room with barely enough space to fit a medium-sized suitcase anywhere. It was a bit like staying in an RV in the middle of London. However the room was clean, the maids friendly and the area very pleasant ( tube station and good supermarket nearby ).

My daughter and I stayed in the apartments for 2 nights as we had tickets for a concert at the Royal albert hall - if you are doing the same dont order a taxi from reception as minimum charge is £12 for a 4 min journey.
