Once the London home of the Aga Khan and still retaining much of its original charm, 51 Kensington Court has been fully refurbished to provide eleven individual apartments ranging from studios to spacious three-bedroom apartments, sleeping from one to eight people.

Located in a beautiful, quiet residential square, this elegant Victorian townhouse is less than five minutes' walk from Kensington High Street underground station and shops, restaurants and cafes. Just across the road, you'll find Kensington Palace and its wonderful gardens.

Apartment Types

All apartments are self-contained with private bathroom, living area, bedroom(s) and a fully equipped kitchen. Bathrooms consist of a shower or bath with shower, W/C and washbasin. The kitchens (or kitchenettes in the case of the studios) contain cupboards, fridge, hob, sink, microwave, grill, toaster, kettle, cutlery and crockery. In addition, two-bedroom apartments have a dishwasher, oven and coffee percolator.

Cots and baby facilities are also available for all apartments at an additional charge (please ask for details).

Standard Studio Apartment

The Standard Studio has a combined living area and bedroom, a kitchenette and a separate bathroom. It can sleep up to three people, with either a king-size bed or twin beds (please specify on the booking form) plus an additional full-size bed which can be added for an additional charge per night.

Superior Studio Apartment

More luxurious than the Standard Studio, the Superior Studio has a combined living area and bedroom, a kitchenette and a separate bathroom. It can sleep up to three people, with either a king-size bed or twin beds (please specify on the booking form) plus an additional full-size bed which can be added for an additional charge per night.

Large Studio Apartment

Suitable for up to four people, this apartment has a large double bed and a double sofa bed. There's a combined living area and bedroom, a kitchenette and a separate bathroom.

Superior One Bedroom Apartment

Sleeping up to four people, this apartment has a double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge. Superior apartments are more luxurious than standard accommodation, with an elegant lounge and quality furnishings.

Standard Two Bedroom Apartment

This apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. There's also a sofa bed, so it can sleep up to six people.

Superior Two Bedroom Apartment

Sleeping up to six people, this apartment has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge. As with all Superior Apartments, there is ample lounge space and high quality decor and furniture. One of the apartments boasts wonderful bay windows opening onto a balcony overlooking gardens, and another has a private patio with potted plants and garden furniture. All Superior Two Bedroom Apartments contain a washer/dryer.

Superior Two Bedroom Two Bathroom Apartment

This apartment has one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, one twin bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge, so it can sleep up to six people. There's an additional bathroom and an elegant lounge with large bay windows overlooking gardens.

Standard Three Bedroom Two Bathroom Apartment

Ideal for families or groups of friends travelling together, this apartment can sleep up to eight people. It consists of a connecting two-bedroom apartment and studio apartment with two doubles, one twin and a double sofa bed.

Locality and Attractions:

The quiet location is a welcome contrast from the bustle of Kensington High Street and its excellent range of cafés, restaurants and shops, which are just around the corner. Kensington High Street provides a wealth of shopping options including grocery stores and all the usual high street retailers. Also within easy reach are museums, Kensington Palace and its gardens, Hyde Park, the Royal Albert Hall and neighbouring Knightsbridge with its outstanding shopping - including Harrods and Harvey Nichols.

Travel Information:

The nearest tube station is High Street Kensington, less than five minutes' walk away, giving access to the District & Circle line. Excellent bus services can be found running from nearby bus stops, and are very handy for the West End theatres.

Booking Procedure
51 Kensington Court Apartments can be booked in exactly the same way as a hotel: simply complete and submit the secure online booking form. As well as your exact apartment requirements, you’ll need to supply your credit card details on the booking form. This is essential for the booking to be made.

Credit Card Charges
Your card will be charged a total of 25% of the total booking cost. The Apartments retain this money to guarantee the booking and it is used as part payment of your accommodation costs.

All bookings of two nights or less, or bookings made within 28 days of arrival, are payable in full at the time of booking.

For all other bookings, you will be asked at the time of booking to select your preferred method of payment for the remaining balance. The balance is payable 28 days in advance of your arrival.

Payments by credit card are subject to a surcharge of up to 3.5% depending on the card.

Security Deposit
£500 is payable on arrival either by signature authorisation on a credit card or by cash to be refunded/returned on check out after the final balance has been paid.

Check-In & Check-Out Times
Check-in from 14:00 and check-out by 11:00. Arrivals outside of reception hours must be arranged with the apartment in advance.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 29 days prior to arrival are free of charge.

Cancellation made between 28 and 15 days prior to arrival will incur a loss of your 25% deposit.

Cancellations made between 14 and 8 days prior to arrival will result in a charge of 50% of the rental cost. *

Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will result in a charge of the full rental cost. *

* = Limited to 7 days, which will be refunded (less deposit) if we are able to re-let the apartment.

Please note that where payment has been made by credit card, the surcharge is not refundable.
